The WDUA expressed solidarity with the Mother Earth Water Walkers by providing Walkers with dinner and over-night lodging. The journey, estimated to be 1,500-miles long, began at the headwaters of the Mississippi River at Lake Itasca and ended in Louisiana at the Gulf of Mexico.
We also implement outreach projects to reservations:
- Collaborate with the Diversity Foundation to fill trucks of toys and clothes for Reservations at Christmas time.
- Provides Elder Gifts for “Shut-Ins” and the “Forgottens.”
